Over the past few few months Kesses has witnessed aspirants ‘helping’ wananchi to settle their financial obligations majorly school fees. The popularity that the current parliamentary aspirants are riding on seems to be anchored on how much they have been dishing out.

Lets take Dr. Mishra as a case study. This is a man who is very well moneyed and not afraid to spend. His generosity has even earned him a Kalenjin name –Kiprop. He has sponsored a number of students and initiated a several development projects. The bitter truth is that his popularity has come because of his money and not because people believe he can bring change.
Another case is the latest entrant into the race; Allan Kosgey. The son to powerful former Tindiret mp Henry Kosgey.

Allans' popularity skyrocketed immediately people got wind that he is a man not afraid to give. He has bailed out several families from the school debts and has even launched a foundation God knows what for. So is Allan truly popular or is it the money that is popular?

The question that begs to be answered is, is Kesses for sale? Where are the true sons of Kesses? Why are we entrusting our land to foreigners? Personal money cannot solve all the problems that Kesses faces. Legislations in the National Assembly does. There is no way a visitor will know the challenges I have been facing in my own house unless he/she has lived with me long enough.
Kesses has to be on top of its game and smell out people out there who want to brainwash people with their money. Lets us no put kesses on sale.
The Son of Kesses.
